MSN featured AdView’s Jargon Jobs Campaign yesterday.
As our latest campaign, we set out to highlight the most overused clichés other jargon used in job ads across the UK and the USA. In analysing over a million job ads, we found the top three phrases to be:
- Fast paced
- Team player
The popular news site chose to focus on annoying buzzwords in job ads by state, contrasting corporate speak in Georgia and Indiana, while Alabama was the biggest offender using the term “work hard, play hard”.
