About the role:
You will be responsible for identifying and securing work experience opportunities for learners within the School of Supported Learning. To carry out monitoring visits, health and safety observations and assessment on learners within work placement. Identify and support with any other additional training opportunities for employers. Arranging enrichment activities for learners relating to future job opportunities.
You should have appropriate experience and qualifications reflecting a strong background in placing learners in industry placements. A working knowledge of learners with support needs is essential. You should have excellent communication and organisation skills. You should be able to keep a clear track of all industry placements and the hours completed by each individual learner. A key part of the position is finding and making links for new work experience placements.
