Job Title: Technical Sales Engineer Location; Thetford Salary: 28-30k Depending Upon Experience Technical Sales Engineer Duties/Responsibilities: To take lead on all technical and commercial aspects of live QOTP and OTP enquiry bids To be the client point of contact for the life cycle of the bid to delivery To build strong relationships with technical teams and procurement within the client project teams Give technical and sales presentation on our products and services to new and existing customers Attend formal bid clarification meetings globally Interpret client's enquiry documents, prepare designs and draft formal tender responses to tight customer specified deadlines Undertake ongoing technical and commercial clarifications, requested by the client, throughout the life of the tenders Obtain sub-vendor compliant quotations for bought out items Formulate accurate cost build-ups Review technical and commercial content of Purchase Orders Prepare accurate contract handover files for the Project Managers Work with Project Managers post order to negotiate discounts on major sub-vendor bought out items Work with Project Managers post order to monitor the cost of sale and ensure maximum savings and VO's are achieved Update AX/CRM database based on feedback received Review the technical part of the contract review on sales orders received Monthly reporting on targeted projects and future projects Regular travel will be required every month to close both technical and commercial bids in front of the client to secure business Technique Recruitment Solutions are a specialist Engineering Recruitment company based in Norfolk
