Tunnel & Underground Infrastructure has hundreds of skilled experts worldwide and have one of the largest infrastructure departments in the world. We are experienced in all types of tunnels and infrastructure in sectors ranging from railways, highways, metros to energy and power, and we cover the entire lifecycle of a project from idea, concept and design to operation and maintenance. The Lower Thames Crossing is the single biggest roads investment project since the M25 was completed more than 30 years ago. It will form a vital part of the UK's transport infrastructure and will help businesses large and small to grow and bring people and communities closer to job, education and leisure opportunities. It will connect Essex and Kent and almost double road capacity across the Thames east of London. CASCADE is committed to promoting an inclusive working environment for all staff and expects its team leaders to make best use of their skill to create an inclusive culture free from discrimination or harassment EXTEND YOUR POTENTIAL WITHIN A TEAM OF EXPERTS In this position, you will join our global team of experts and work closely with Enabling Works Lead. Your tasks in our team will vary from day-to-day, and across different stages of our programme delivery cycle. The main objective is to support the Enabling Works Director and Work Package Lead Teams in the coordination, planning and control of the adminsitration on the project. On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for: * Managing the diaries across the Enabling Works Team (particularly the EW Director Work Package Leads) * Arranging pre-meetings with internal and external parties to discuss meeting objectives and logistics, creating agendas/presentation material and ensuring feedback/updates are communicated post workshop/meeting to the right parties (being proactive in thinking how this can be achieved). * Liaising with other teams within the project and assist in setting up interviews, establish and manage staff onboarding tracker, and manage the onboarding of new staff including arranging any necessary project specific training / inductions, and managing Fitness for Work medicals, management of project PPE maintain adequate levels of PPE and distribution * Liaising with site office manager to co-ordinate any requests for site visits & inductions, managing annual leave (ensuring adequate cover) and absence reporting, (assisting with scheduling reviews) and updating departmental resources (i.e. organisational chart / team annual leave register) and ensuring all staff complete timesheets and project specific records, help support the maintaining of the BH Reception desk when required * Actively supporting the development of tracking and reporting (weekly reports, monthly dashboards and reports, presentations, etc.), preparing agendas, attend meetings and produce minutes and track actions as required, ensuring the project wide meetings calendar is managed effectively, helping to develop and produce presentations * Support outside meetings where requested. Locating venues, ordering resources, planning catering and refreshments, & occasionally acting as front of house/admin at these meetings.
