A 6 partner firm of Accountants in Manchester are currently recruiting for an experienced Tax Semi-Senior to join their team as a result of the growth of their client portfolio. They are looking for someone to ultimately progress to run their already bustling Tax department.You can expect to be part of a trusting and flexible firm who promote the training and progression of their staff alongside providing the support and tools that are essential to help you achieve this.The remit of the role will include: Provide day to day support to Managers and Assistant Managers to assist with their portfolio of clients. Prepare the first draft tax computation for a portfolio of clients, take responsibility for ensuring their tax computations are prepared on a timely basis for review Understand the client requirements at the start of each compliance cycle based on instructions received and timetable agreed with the client and deliver work in accordance with those requirements. Liaise with the client to obtain information required to prepare tax computations. Identify technical issues, prepare initial technical analysis and liaison with senior colleagues to resolve technical position. The firm requires at least 3 years accountancy practice experience and would consider those either studying or completed their ATT or even those part CTA Qualified.
