Can you contribute to a creative and dynamic service? Do you have an interest in neurorehabilitation? Do you enjoy working in the community?
Then we may have the position for you:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 speech and language therapist to join a large, well-established multidisciplinary neurorehabilitation team, just rated as ‘outstanding’ by CQC! Intervention is goal-orientated and follows a self-management approach that encourages clients to participate actively in their rehab.
This post is part of the Neuro Conditions pathway which sits within a service with a community stroke service, a Level 2b in-patient neurorehabilitation unit, as well as a neuro-navigation service and The Community Neurorehab Enhanced Transition Team (NETT).
• Manage your own caseload of clients with a balance of communication and swallowing difficulties.
• Work closely with the multidisciplinary team and other health and social care organisations.
• Be supported to complete clinical competencies with regular supervision, including access to peer supervision and in-service training with other SLTs across Southwark and Lambeth
• Benefit from belonging to Guy's and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust and Kings Health Partners, an academic healthcare centre.
