We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and flexible lecturer, with excellent interpersonal skills, to teach, assess and tutor learners aged 15-18 from pre entry to level 1. You should have a strong background in teaching ESOL to unaccompanied asylum seekers and/or refugees between the ages of 15 and 18 and also possess a clear understanding of current and future curriculum developments within this area.
Lecturers also are involved in maintaining robust management systems and processes and ensuring outstanding practice in key areas such as safeguarding, equality and diversity and health and safety.
A teaching qualification (DTTLS or equivalent) together with a relevant degree, or appropriate higher level qualification is essential, together with extensive teaching experience with this age group. You will be required to demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills, and be committed to the professional development of yourself to deliver outstanding results.
Literacy and Numeracy, at or above Level 2, is also required.
