Job DescriptionSenior Service Desk technician required for a market leading manufacturing organisation on the Wirral. Joining an experienced, fast paced, dynamic team of IT technicians, the senior service desk technician will form a pivotal role in supporting both internal and external users with their IT queries. Reporting into the IT Service Desk Manager, the senior technician will be second in command in the operational efficiency's of the team. Responsibilities include: * Taking inbound calls and logging tickets * resolving queries from 2nd - 3rd line * supporting 1st and 2nd line technicians * Monitoring workflow and making operational changes when required * Controlling user access with Active Directory, Office 365, Windows 10 and inhouse database * Administration duties as required * Acting as stand in for Senior lead The Senior service desk technician will be joining the organisation on a permanent contract with an immediate start available following interview. Experience of working within an IT service desk or help desk environment would need to be evident in your application to be considered for this role.
