Summary: The AR/VR team is developing the future of augmented and virtual reality, bringing products to consumers that transform entertainment and social experiences. AR/VR at Facebook is seeking a highly quantitative, driven, and creative sales analyst to focus on Sales Planning. This position will require cross-functional coordination across several groups, with an emphasis on partnering with Sales Account managers, Finance, Marketing, Operations and BD.The successful candidate will combine strategic planning and decision making with deep data analytics and insights. The ideal candidate will be passionate about AR/VR and consumer hardware, have a demonstrated interest in data and technology, work well independently, and be highly analytical. This role will challenge the candidate to understand and impact many facets of hardware business strategy, including sales planning, financial forecasting, strategic pricing, trade marketing, sales analytics and supply chain analytics. This position is full-time and based in London. Competitive Salary including the following benefits apply: Medical / Dental / Vision / Pension / Life assurance / Childcare / Gym / Transport / Laundry Posted: 30th of January 2020 Closing date: 3rd of March 2020 Required Skills: * Forecast and track weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly sales performance of the hardware products in AR/VR * Drive forecast development process to increase planning accuracy across different channels, in collaboration with account managers and cross-functional teams (finance, marketing, supply chain) * Partner with Supply Chain & Operations to impact production and launch decisions * Partner with Finance and Marketing to impact pricing strategy across entire portfolios of products * Analyze Sales data to generate actionable insights about sales trend and its drivers * Share forecast assumptions and impact of the various activities to forecast outcomes to other teams * Evaluate promotional programs, new revenue initiative financials and assess new markets for growth * Present outcomes at reviews with business leaders across Facebook, including the AR/VR executive team and members of the AR/VR Sales team Minimum Qualifications: * B.S. or M.S. in business-related or quantitative field (Economics, Finance, Math, Engineering, or similar discipline) * 3+ years of experience in business strategy, finance, analytics or sales planning * Proficiency in Excel & PowerPoint * Experience designing, leading and executing analysis and communicating insights * Experience with forecasting tools Preferred Qualifications: * Experience problem solving individually or in a group setting and knowledge in financial drivers of the business * Experience in strategic planning in tech company, investment banking or strategy consulting with a focus on technology * Experience in SQL/Tableau/Power BI/visualization tools * Experience in consumer electronics businesses Industry: Internet
