Working with local authorities, national government, universities, and private developers, this business has a strong portfolio of current and upcoming projects across the north of Scotland, and due to these significant contract wins is now actively strengthening their commercial team in Aberdeen.

The Candidate

This position would suit an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor who would like to work for a business which can offer market-leading career progression opportunities, a secure pipeline of work, and a collaborative and supportive working environment.

Preferably you will have experience of working on residential or social housing projects; candidates with a main contracting background will also be considered.

We would also be interested in speaking to experienced Graduate and Assistant Quantity Surveyors who are keen to take the next step in terms of responsibility, whilst at the same time benefitting from a supportive and collaborative culture.

Responsibilities of the role include,

• Appointing sub-contractors
• Review of sub-contractor payments
• Prepare cost forecasts
• Review quotes
• Attend progress meetings as required
• Maintaining tidy and efficient payment and invoicing systems
• Prepare final accounts
