Our client is a large international award-winning independent construction and property Consultancy working across all sectors of the built environment. Providing Project Leadership, Cost Management and Construction Management across the Pharmaceutical, Infrastructure, Utilities, Hospitality, Residential and Retail sectors, they are Head Quartered in London and operate from a number of offices across the UK, Europe and the US, servicing clients across the globe.
About the role:
Our client was hugely successful in securing a number of projects in the Spring time and subsequently, due to a busy and long-term pipeline of work, our client is seeking to appoint a Project Planner to join the Project Management team and, in the first instance, lead the planning phase of a £50m project based in Sittingbourne, Kent. In this team, the role of the Planner will involve planning for all phased of the project lifecycle from set-up construction, commissioning, operational readiness, process validation, progress monitoring and close out. You will be responsible for the coordination between trades, as well as monthly reporting and order tracking. You will maintain regular communication with suppliers and project managers, and ultimately maintain the Project Schedule throughout.
The planning team at this company is a unique group that sits within the Project Management team, led by 3 key Partners, and you will have every opportunity to work closely with the Partners and Clients alike to ensure you are fully supported through all phases of Construction.
About the benefits and rewards:
The salary will be dependent on experience and sector knowledge, however the following range is on offer: £55,000 - £60,000. In addition to the base salary, you can expect to receive a full benefits package as well as professional training as required.
About the requirements:
The candidate needs to have experience of working as a Project Planner, with knowledge of MS Project. You will have experience of Lead Planning, Logical Developing, Integrating and Maintaining the Project Schedule, monthly reporting and ultimately understand all phases of the project lifecycle. You will ideally have a University Degree in Construction Management or similar.
