Position Description

  • We are looking to appoint a Project Planner to join our team in planning and deliver on planning activities as part of our business. The position will report into our Senior Planner and will be based out of our offices in Bracknell or London.
Position Delivery
  • Create, review, update and administer construction schedules and plans
  • Liaise with engineers, project managers and other project team members to keep plans updated and identify project issues particularly those with respect to schedules
  • Liaise with customers to review and align project plans to their schedules
  • Request and guide the development of sub-contractor project schedules
  • Keep customers updated on progress and organise meetings and presentations to discuss project plans and associated issues and opportunities
  • Work to prepare reports and updates for internal project review
Experience
  • Knowledge of BMS and MEP practice as part of the construction industry
  • 6 years or more experience in planning, scheduling and reporting (KPI)
  • Demonstrated ability to work projects of greater than 1M£ and/or with greater than 25 staff
  • Worked previously on planning activities as part of NEC Contracts
Skills
  • Expert user of Oracle Primavera P6(E) Professional
  • Expert user of Microsoft Projects
  • Proficient in NEC3 contracts and processes regarding planning and reporting
  • Commercial acumen with detailed understanding of budgeting and project financial management
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Keen attention to details
  • Ability to deal and interact with multiple stakeholders
  • Promotes teamwork and diversity
  • Demonstrates growth and customer focus
  • Is self aware and learner
  • Gets results
