Job DescriptionAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time Band 6 RMN to join Southern Health's Community Perinatal Service. **Offering £2,500 Golden Hello Payment to External Candidates from Hampshire and Isle of Wight** The Perinatal Team provides a specialist community service for the assessment and treatment of women with severe mental health problems in pregnancy and up to one year postnatal. We have the expertise to be able to predict and prevent postnatal illness for pregnant women who have a past history of significant mental illness. The team also provides advice and information for women with a less severe mental illness in the perinatal period to primary care providers including GP's Health visitors and maternity services as well as the women themselves. We offer a good induction package with specialist training and robust supervision. We work to extremely high standards in our patient care and are always striving to improve our service through our regular quality improvement sessions and away days. We are an accredited service under the Royal College of Psychiatrists perinatal quality network. We are looking for a motivated registered Mental Health nurse with an interest in the field of Perinatal Mental Health. The team base is at Melbury Lodge which is located in Winchester; however the service covers the whole of Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, including the unitary authorities of Southampton and Portsmouth, as well as North East Hants and Farnham.
