If so, the International GP Recruitment (IGPR) Programme can help. The programme puts you and your family at the heart of the process, offering a tailored package of support to meet your individual needs. What does the programme involve? We understand how daunting it can be when thinking about moving to a new country and going through a registration process. The programme aims to make this transition as easy as possible for you and your family, providing support and funding towards relocation, a tailored educational support package including both clinical and language support designed to support you through the UK registration process, and even supporting you in finding a GP practice to work in, both whilst you prepare for the UK registration process, and for the period beyond this. This includes a generous training salary and agreed salary upon registration. What support is included? You will be fully supported throughout the process by a dedicated programme team. The offer includes: * Travel and accommodation costs covered for interview * A range of educational support to help you to prepare for the required MCQ and Simulated Surgery assessments * A training salary of £3000 - £3500 per month (net) * Once you become a registered GP, a salary of minimum £68,000 per year with opportunities for career progression * Support with relocation costs, such as accommodation for your first few weeks, estate agency fees and transportation of belongings * Assistance finding short and long-term accommodation, in addition to schools, nurseries and other local facilities * Guidance regarding UK bank accounts, tax and National Insurance numbers * General advice on living/working in the UK for you and your family Why move to Greater Manchester? * On 1 April 2016, Greater Manchester took charge of the £6 billion spent on health and social care in our 10 boroughs, following our devolution deal with the government.
