Job DescriptionWhat we are looking for: We are looking for a Registered Children's Nurse to provide specialist nursing support, and education and training to 4 Special Schools in Mid Essex. Experience in a community setting is desirable and the ability to work autonomously is essential. This post involves travel between different bases on different days of the week across four Mid Essex Schools (Chelmsford, Witham and Braintree) so car driver essential. About the Service: This is a unique opportunity to provide expert specialist nursing advice and support to children, families and Education staff in 4 Special Schools in Mid Essex (Columbus School and College, Thriftwood School, Southview School and Edith Borthwick School). You will be based on site in each of the schools on different days to troubleshoot clinical issues that arise on a daily basis and also to be responsible for the training, education and support of school staff and communication with children and families and cross agency partners.
