The Permits Team is a fast paced team dealing with utility work matters which include providing inspection and coordination services, ensuring all works are compliant with Streetworks legislation and codes of practice as well as maintaining the expeditious movement of traffic on the network.
You will be assisting the team by improving management and coordination on the road network by assessing permit applications from our Statutory Undertakers and contractors. As being part of the South East Permit Scheme you will be required to ensure all applicable income is recorded as our team is self funded.
Slough has a substantial regeneration programme which is focused on growth and providing a place where people can work, play and stay. Planning and Transport will play a key role in this masterplan and so we are looking for experienced and enthusiastic candidates that can help deliver this change.
