Job DescriptionJob Summary The LU Interface Manager manages all aspects of the Euston project's interfaces with LU and its internal stakeholders on a day to day basis to ensure that the impact of construction activities on rail operations and customer satisfaction is minimised. Key Responsibilities * Establish strong working relationships with LU stations operations team and its internal stakeholders and set up formal and informal communications channels. * Ensure the rail operations and interfaces are considered in all aspects of the implementation planning of the project. * Support LU with all negotiations and presentations to the public, transport pressure groups, unions and other interested parties as necessary. * Chair weekly planning and co-ordination meetings between LU and the project construction team and ensure that operations needs are fully considered in the detailed planning and methodology * Act as the main point of contact for any emergency incidents involving LU operations * Arrange and record any condition inspections and reports regarding the LU Assets and oversee any making good works. * Ensure a register of all commitments and undertakings to LU Station Operations is maintained and such commitments are fully complied with. * Manage any possessions required as part of the construction project * Oversee deliveries to site by rail and ensure that rail windows are agreed in advance with LU * Identify and manage all activities required to protect the LU assets including both physical protection and monitoring Values and Cultural Fit Identify two values you will assess as part of the interview (please X): Leadership: Using innovation and challenge to lead by example Respect: Understanding others, recognising their value and behaving accordingly x Safety: Caring for our workforce, or passengers and the public by creating an environment where no one gets hurt x Integrity: Acting fairly, transparently and consistently Person Specification Technical Competencies required The key technical competencies required to perform the role well are outlined below. Essential Desired * Strong communications skill * Highly credible and trustworthy * Resilient and confident * Calm under pressure Qualifications, Certifications and Experience required Essential Desired * Minimum 10 years' experience of rail operations * Past experience of major construction * Degree, HNC or similar higher education qualification
