London Ambulance Service NHS Trust is the busiest emergency ambulance service in the UK with over 5,000 staff who works across a wide range of roles. The Role __________________________________________________ General Practitioner Integrated Urgent Care Centre - Croydon, South East London Salary Range £58,808 - £88,744 plus London Weighting and unsocial hours, as appropriate. Full and part time hours available. An opportunity has arisen for General Practitioners to join our team and work within our new Integrated Urgent Care service based in South West London. This is an exciting time to join the Trust, as we begin integrating both urgent and emergency care provision incorporating the 111 and 999 services. As a General Practitioner, you will provide enhanced clinical consultation and high quality clinical advice via telephone to patients who have contacted the IUC service. As a senior clinician, you will also provide clinical leadership, support and advice to the IUC multi-disciplinary team, including Call Handlers, Health Advisors, Nurses, Paramedics and Advanced Practitioners. In addition to supporting the on-site Clinical Assessment Service, you will provide clinical support and advice to healthcare professionals within the community including ambulance clinicians, community nursing teams, allied health professionals and care home staff. To succeed in this role, you will need to be MBBS qualified with a current GMC certificate and significant post registration experience as a General Practitioner. You will have also operated in a role involving multidisciplinary communication and have experience of providing complex clinical care, advice and support to patients.
