At Babington we support people at all stages of their career to progress further. Whether it's getting a foot in the door or advancing into senior management were here to help. We offer apprenticeships and traineeships and have 12 centres across the UK. The role of our Service Support Team is to engage with learners on an Apprenticeship programme, promoting retention and monitoring learner satisfaction.
As an Employer Engagement Advisor, you will be responsible for building and managing a portfolio of employers to support work placements and progression opportunities for learners.
Engage and strengthen employer relationships to provide quality work placement and progression opportunities which match the career aspirations of Babington's learners Create new sales opportunities through direct marketing and office-based engagement initiatives
Recognise opportunities for cross-selling and upselling relevant programmes to meet employer's needs, collaborating with other departments accordingly Maintain current and accurate contact records for all employers and learners work placements using internal CRM systems Manage and provide statistical data relating to engagement activities and placement opportunities to other colleagues as required Engage with a local network of referral agencies to promote and advertise employability programmes Collate, present and disseminate local labour market intelligence, management information and Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) information to maximise opportunities and inform delivery plans
Conduct and interpret detailed skills gap analysis with employers to accurately identify training needs, growth ambitions and required support Monitor and manage learner's attendance, performance and attitude whilst on work placement as per Babington's expectations Construct and maintain all employer documentation including health & safety checks and valid employer liability insurance certificates to ensure safe work placement are available for learners
Experience of working with young people to help to remove barriers and support progression into employment, education or training Proven experience building working relationships Ability to work within a target driven environment Experience of delivering high level of service and satisfaction Proven experience of successfully achieving deadlines and working without close supervision
Experience of liaising with employers and external agencies
Grade C GCSE or above in English and maths or a willingness to acquire Level 2 Certificate in Advice and Guidance or willingness to acquire Experience in recruitment, marketing or sales
Involvement of working with NEET cohorts IOSH Managing Safety Certificate
