Job DescriptionYour new company I am currently working in exclusive partnership with a secondary school near Accrington to commence from April 2019. The school is a small mixed secondary school with a sixth form. The school has developed an excellent reputation in the local community and has consistently been graded as Good in OFSTED reports. The report boasts about the effectiveness of leadership and management throughout school and also positively praises the behaviour and safety of pupils. Their is a clear vision throughout school to achieve outstanding and the ever growing popularity of this school, has made vacancies some of the most sought after in Lancashire. Your new role Joining a small but high achieving department, you will be responsible for teaching Drama & Performing Arts to A-Level. The role is full time and is to commence from the 23rd April 2019, operating on a temporary basis until the end of the academic year. As the role is long term, you will be required to plan and prepare all lessons whilst differentiating in pupil ability. You will also be required to mark and assess all work and attend any school functions such as parents evenings. What you'll need to succeed To be successful in securing this position, it is essential that you hold Qualified Teacher Status and have experience of teaching Drama and Performing Arts to A-Level. Experience of GCSE Eduqas is also an essential requirement. You must be able to commence the role from April and commit to the full duration of the assignment. The school are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated teacher who can help pupils achieve their full potential and assist the school in their vision for outstanding.
