Requirements We are looking for people who can help deliver Starling's machine learning, data science and analytics platform. For us a good data engineer is someone who: * Enjoys the challenge of processing complex data at scale; * Is familiar with machine learning and understands how the data platform supports this; * Knows what is needed to build efficient data pipelines; * Has the ability to translate between real world problems and possible solutions; * Can fulfil requests for data requirements from a reporting perspective; * Can communicate and encourage database best practice to the wider engineering team.
