What you'll do Data is a newly formed function so as a data engineer you'll actively take part in defining and building our stack. You will be responsible for setting up new ETL processes, help iterate over the existing architecture all the way to exposing APIs so that the rest of the business can consume our data and discover actionable insights. We are currently building up our architecture and aim to combine all data sources under our Data Warehouse. You will get to experience the opportunities and challenges of working with data streams that originate from different sources, the standardisation process and the automation triggers that are required to keep the data clean. Requirements Who you are * Computer Science degree. Any data related MSc or specialisation is a bonus. * A good knowledge of Python for data processes (ETLs, data manipulation, etc). * A good knowledge of SQL. * A good understanding of relational databases * A strong understanding of the principles of ETL processes * Passionate about programming with a genuine interest in data. * Excellent attention to detail coupled with strong problem solving skills Benefits What you'll get in return * Competitive salary and share options in one of the UK's most exciting startups.
