As long-standing insurance market specialists, they provide pragmatic, flexible and straight-forward advice to clients at every stage of their development; helping them to raise capital to start or grow their business, managing the issues around regulation, commercial operations or overseas development, helping with acquisitions or disposals and, should the need arise, helping the business to close their books and manage the resulting legacy. Clients are underwriters and brokers in the life, property and casualty sectors (both retail and wholesale) As part of this corporate insurance transactional team you will be assisting with a range of transactions, ranging from large M&A and joint ventures for insurance industry clients, to Part VII insurance business transfers, national and international distribution arrangements, reinsurance transactions and renewal rights transfers as well as insurance regulatory advice. Due to increased demand they are looking for a high quality mid-senior Associate (4-5 PQE ideally) to join the team and work on a wide range of transactions. To be considered for this role, you will: Have a strong academic background; Have received training and post-qualification experience (ideally 4-5 PQE, though candidates with more or less experience will also be considered) at a well-regarded UK or international firm; Be commercial, client-focused, ambitious, positive and willing to work as part of a team.
