Job DescriptionWe are looking for a creative, forward thinking and motivated senior clinician to join our friendly and professional multi-disciplinary CAMHS Service. The post holder will be responsible for the clinical oversight of the Front Door Triage Process, ensuring operational services are effective and leading a team of mental health professionals in the newly established Front Door referral system. The post holder will support and contribute to providing rapid triage and assessment for all referrals into the Luton CAMHS service. The post holder will work within the principles of both the agreed models of care for the services as laid down in the Front Door operational policy. The post holder will work as an autonomous and accountable senior practitioner providing operational and clinical leadership to the teams, including the 'virtual' triage team. This will involve the management and supervision of junior staff, oversight of all triage assessment, signposting referrals based on the referral pathways, action outcomes from MDT meetings whilst providing effective liaison with all agencies involved with the referral for the young person and their families. The successful applicant would have the opportunity to initiate a quality improvement program around the Front Door processes well as be part of all service-wide meetings and developments.
