Job DescriptionDENTAL DIVISION LOCATION: COMMUNITY DENTAL SERVICE CLINICS (Birmingham, Sandwell, Dudley and Walsall) Grade: Band A Maternity Cover fixed term contract for 6 months 1.0 WTE Community Dentist in Paediatric Dentistry The Paediatric Community Dental Service is an extensive, long established service which provides care for children in priority groups, particularly those with special needs. We are looking for enthusiastic dentists who have full GDC Registration and excellent interpersonal skills to work with children and join our team, which includes Consultant in Paediatric Dentistry, Specialist in Paediatric Dentistry, Senior Dental Officers, Dental Officers and Dental Therapists. This is one of the services that form part of the newly integrated Dental Hospital and Community Dental Services. The post holders will have a range of duties which may include supervision of undergraduate students, working on a mobile dental unit, GA exodontia clinics in a hospital setting within the Black Country along with their own patient sessions. Surgeries are well equipped and fully computerised, with facilities for RA and IV sedation. You must be eligible for inclusion on the NHS England Performers List, hold a full driving licence and be able to move around the clinics/hospitals where services are provided.
