THE COMPANY: Our client, established over 100 years, is one of the market leaders in their industry – with an instantly recognisable brand. They are a global manufacturer with huge growth and progression opportunities for the right individual.
THE ROLE: You will be responsible for selling their full range of power tools and accessories through an independent retail, DIY, electrical wholesale and builders merchant channels – with some exposure to “e”tailers. You will interact with a variety of decision makers including owners and those in purchasing departments. This role will be covering the North and Central region of England; predominantly account management focussed, but you will also be responsible for identifying new business opportunities. Full training will be provided to the successful Area Sales Manager.
THE PERSON: Experience in distribution sales or dealing with retail / wholesalers is advantageous; however the most important thing is sales calibre in a B2B or FMCG environment, together with attitude. Polished, articulate, credible sales candidates are desired for this position.
* Basic Salary: £35,000 - £38,000
* OTE: + £9,000
* Fully expensed company car
