Recruitment consultants have the responsibility of attracting candidates for jobs and matching them to positions with client companies. However, if applicants do apply to an agency that specialises in a specific sector to the applicant's degree subject, chances of getting hired will increase significantly. If an applicant does not have a degree, entry is entirely possible as long as the applicant has relevant work experience in the field.
